As Christians, we can become so familiar with serious topics like forgiveness, unity, and faith … that they begin to lose their meaning. We take them for granted and we forget just how important they are to informing what we believe and determining how we behave.
Over the course of the next several weeks, we’ll take a careful look at what the Bible says about these serious issues and we will rely on Jesus to help us experience even more of the hope and purpose he provides.

Paul said it best when he declared, “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened by a yoke of slavery” (Gal 5:1). The gospel brings freedom; freedom from trying to “earn our way” and from comparing ourselves to others. The gospel causes us to see people and life differently. We will investigate the ways the gospel changes our lives and be encouraged to stand firm in the freedom Jesus provides.
